How's this place work?

If you could take a little mental holiday and go to any imaginary place, where would you go?
And what would you do while you were there?

Send me a postcard, handmade or otherwise, from an imaginary location. It can be a place from a book or a movie or a piece of music, or some other world you made up. On the other side, write and tell me what you've been doing on your vacation from reality.

All postcards to be addressed to:

I'll scan a selection of postcards and post them to the blog for all and sundry to enjoy.

Postcard the thirtieth: 'Tis the seasons

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, winter is in full swing.

Needless to say, that isn't the case everywhere else.

Consider the special circumstances of our correspondent here, who writes:
"Hey there!
How's the weather over there? Well... for me, I've never seen snow before, hence the reason I went to a place where I can see all 4 seasons at the same time! (It doesn't 'change' seasons where I live...)"

A friend of mine says the Seattle area has two seasons: "It's too hot" and "Sick of this rain." While we do have a rainy season that lasts longer than most pregnancies, I like the way it makes everything green and beautiful. Hoping you enjoy the changing seasons wherever you are!
