How's this place work?

If you could take a little mental holiday and go to any imaginary place, where would you go?
And what would you do while you were there?

Send me a postcard, handmade or otherwise, from an imaginary location. It can be a place from a book or a movie or a piece of music, or some other world you made up. On the other side, write and tell me what you've been doing on your vacation from reality.

All postcards to be addressed to:

I'll scan a selection of postcards and post them to the blog for all and sundry to enjoy.

Postcard the twenty-third: Commitment-free snow days

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Everywhere you go...

Look at this picturesque image! Magnificent, noble Airstreams as far as the eye can see!

Our friend currently inhabiting the Airstream trailer on the left writes:
"This place is amazing. Went snowboarding earlier and came back to the trailers feeling great. The weather is really no issue here. If you're too hot in your gear you can just go back to the mountains. If you're too cold you can walk back to the park. It's incredible. I'll keep you posted -- brought a snowman I made back and totally forgot these things melt.
See you soon"

It seems our snowboarding friend is inhabiting the best of both worlds. Which means this postcard must have come from Hannah, MT.

See you soon, friend! When we meet, do you wanna build a snowman? (It doesn't hafta be a snowman.) OK, bye!
